Among teens who have been sexually active, about two-thirds say that they wish they had waited to have sex. 4 Why do you suppose so many teens say that they wish they had waited to have sex?
*
Sex isn’t just a physical act. Sex creates a strong emotional bond between the two people involved, a bond that can be long-lasting.5 In a marriage relationship, this bonding can provide a positive, intimate connection in the couple’s relationship. Outside of marriage, the emotional bonding can cause heartache and painful memories.6, 7 Name some emotions that you think two people might experience after a relationship involving sex has ended.

Add as many as you'd like by pressing the plus.
Starting over is the decision to stop having sex and to wait to have sex until you are married. People choose to start over for a variety of reasons. Many young people who have been sexually active are encouraged to learn that they can choose a new path forward.8 How do you think choosing to start over would help someone better prepare for their future?
