SRAE / Title V Funding
The Success Sequence Program is a Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) curriculum for grades 6–12 — fully aligned to the Federal A–F standards and proven in classrooms since 2001.
A Letter to SRAE Applicants
Dear SRAE Applicants,
This year, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of A.C. Green’s Game Plan, the first workbook in The Success Sequence Program (SSP). The SSP is a series of workbooks for students in grades 6–12 that clearly and faithfully communicate the Sexual Risk Avoidance message. The series includes A.C. Green’s Game Plan, Quest, Aspire, and Navigator — available in paper workbook format or as an online learning course. The SSP teaches youth the optimal three-step pathway for future success, with a clear emphasis on the objective benefits of reserving all sexual activity and childbearing for marriage.
Each workbook includes eight lessons in support of the SRAE message. The SSP helps students pursue academic excellence by resisting pressures toward sexual activity, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Professional development for educators is provided by the author, The Success Sequence Program.
SRAE Requirements. The SSP is an SRAE program fully aligned to the Federal A–F standards, including Positive Youth Development and the Success Sequence. The SSP is not “adapted” for SRAE — rather, it was developed with the singular focus of fulfilling SRAE requirements, and has been doing so with great success since 2001.
The SSP is a respectful, non-explicit SRAE program with messaging that is universally beneficial to all students. The program includes a variety of resources including student workbooks, online learning courses, online teacher training, supplemental videos for the classroom, and an activity box with materials for classroom activities and video demonstrations of activities.
